We are a professional, multidisciplinary team with verified experience in local management applied to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and the New Urban Agenda.

Our team develops innovative methodologies for citizen participation. We are urban planners, strategists, engineers, lawyers, political scientists, psychologists, economists, communicators, among others, with extensive experience in local issues.

Coordinator of Quito Cómo Vamos. City councilor of Quito from 2014 to 2019. Vice Mayor of Quito from 2014 to 2016. Creator of the program for the prevention of sexual violence in the public transportation system of Quito. Co-founder of the Women in Motion Initiative, and member of the Placemaking Leadership Council.

She has developed her professional experience as a communication strategist for citizen services in different national and local public sector institutions. She specializes in communication focused on transportation and mobility.

Author of the national and international dissemination report entitled “National Meeting of Rural Women, Parity Democracy, and Agenda 2030. Experiences, Challenges, and Proposals of Rural Women in Ecuador” within the International Framework of the United Nations, Agenda 2030.

Anthropologist specialized in cities, land policies, and climate change in Latin America. Urban pedestrian and cyclist.

Experienced and interested in citizen participation, housing and habitat, segregation, urban mobility, innovation, among other topics. Passionate about community work, research, ethnography, and the use of geographic information systems.

Capable of handling participatory methodologies for intervention and work with multiple actors.

Lawyer graduated from the Central University of Ecuador, specializing in public policies for equality in Latin America and currently pursuing a master’s degree in Gender and Development.

Experienced in gender studies, focusing on the analysis of labor, reproduction, and care. Skilled in human rights, citizen participation, human mobility, and the exercise of the right to the city for vulnerable groups.

Proficient in participatory methodologies in multi-stakeholder projects involving civil society and international cooperation. A dedicated human rights advocate, youth advisor for the European Union Delegation in Ecuador, and for the Spotlight Initiative Advisory Group of UN Women and UNDP. Main representative for the Pichincha Youth Advisory Council.

Involved in national and international environmental auditing activities to strengthen the Ecuadorian State’s management in complying with environmental regulations and the sustainable use of natural resources.

Experienced in coordinating multi-stakeholder projects between civil society and international cooperation, promoting advocacy and citizen participation processes at national and local levels.

Sustainable transport planner with a human centered focus. Specialist in gender, sustainability and environment perspectives with experience in promoting public policies for sustainable, healthy, fair and resilient cities.

He holds a Masters degree in Transport Sustainability from the University of Leeds in the UK. He has worked as a consultant at Inter-American Development Bank and Development Bank of Latin America.

Corporate communicator with six years of experience; designing creative and effective communication plans for brands and public figures through ¨managing coherence¨. Activist at social networks.

Master degree in Communication Management and Corporate Image from the EAE Business School. Bachelor in Corporate Communication from the University of the Americas, Ecuador.

Extensive experience in sustainable project management on environmental and social dimensions.

Masters degree in Architecture focused on Construction Engineering and a Major in Sustainable Development Technologies at Delft University of Technology. Bachelor in Architecture from Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador

MARCELO ESPINEL

Lawyer from the Central University of Ecuador. He has been involved in Civil Society in Ecuador programs from 2002, especially in the promotion and defense of Human Rights as well as transparency and accountability of National Governments.

Nowadays he serves as an important actor at different Civil Society organizations that promote Human Rights and the public discussion of political topics directly from web platforms.

Passionate about gender subjects, women and citizen empowerment and human rights defender. Lover of recreational reading, sport and culture. Bachelor in Economy from Central University of Ecuador.

Professor, citizen activist. Architect from the Universidade Federal do Río de Janeiro, Brasil. Masters degree in Architecture, focus in Urban design from the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro of Manabí, Ecuador.

Graduate in Psychology from Central University of Venezuela, he got a Master degree in Public Management at Higher Studies Institute of Administration (IESA) and active member of  Innovation and Leadership Latinoamerican Network of Georgetown University.
